And you wouldn't have had the opportunity to try the Chevy headers without a set of Uncle Charlie's "Ford to Chevy" header adapters You should "love me" and therefore buy me breakfast.
By the way FABIO, you still owe me $225 for the set you f'ed up Dave had to use a brand new set, because those that you messed up aren't usuable. I'm still mad at you Keep your day job and don't you EVER try to port match anything again What did you use Paul Bunyon's axe Talk about a bull in a china shop

And yes I'll buy you breakfast when I get in.
No, I didn't. I assume what Bobby Shrewsberry had there was the set from over at Jet Boat Bob's.
What was hanging on the wall in the dyno cell, was the f'ed up set from FABIO. I'll never get healed up from over that fubar:!:

I'm just harassing your azz. I know you've offered to pay, but I get more mileage out of it this way. It's like the time I bought Wes Litteral a T-bone steak at the Roadhouse and he ordered a 32 ouncer. I had to float a loan to pay for that, and I've never let him pay me back, because I love teasing you guys.

Forget "Proven Builds", this section needs to be called "Ball busting 101"

Okay kjett. I apologize to all my friends for busting their balls. Hell, both Jon and Wes have cast iron balls, I didn't know you could bust them..

True big tubes work on a race engine operating in a 1500 rpm window..... You'll see a big average loss on a street motor that's operating below 6000. It's all in where you want to make the power.

Wes is a big guy and therefore needs a big meal. That was probably just an appetizer for him actually. Come on out here to cowboy country and I'll fix you up with a 40 oz. Prime Rib that will clog your arteries and leave you with a big ole smile on your face. I always say that you can tell that it's been a good meal if when you are done you can feel your arteries hardening and clogging.

True on a street engine, but as I said when your talking these engines, it seems they like the bigger tubes, yours made more at the torque peak and it stayed there, also picked up torque below too.
I also know that what happens on the dyno , don't always transfer to the track, but I think this time it would. Nice gain.

Re: Yet another 460 build......
One can always put a too tight converter in a deal and blame it on the headers
Dave, forget about all that 'masters of the universe' bullshit and what the engine makes from 3,500-4,500 rpm...this is the real world...let the stall rule

Amen on the stall in a race car...... but when your in a contest you go with what gives the results !!!
I was doing some reading an headers and it seems the concensus is that heads with poor exhaust ports seem to like bigger headers, it allows some expansion of the gas and better flow.
