Light weight calipers
Does anybody know of a light weight aluminum caliper to bolt to the factory mounts on a fox?

Strange for me as well. Mine are still in the box though. I have fooled with a few sets from Aerospace as well.

Re: Light weight calipers
Yes. You need to modify the factory spindle in regards to removing the dust shield and drilling some holes larger and tapping them.

Re: Light weight calipers
I have Aerospace on mine. The Strange are a lot easier to package than the Aerospace. The Aerospace are good though, just kind of a pain dealing with the spacers.
Re: Light weight calipers
I have Lincoln mark seven spindles and rotors on mine, don't know if that matters.

You might need to switch back to some regular Fox spindles. I'm about to buy some Racecraft or PA Racing spindles for mine to go with the Strange brakes. I still have the SN95 stuff on the front and it doesn't allow my wheels to fit.

I'm going with Strange also to cut down on some weight, but I haven't made up my mind yet on who's spindle to use. The stock spindle is 11 lbs., Racecraft's is 5.4 lbs., and PA's is 4.5 lbs. from what I can find out. Both Racecraft and PA are available with 2" drop, but the PA is also available in stock height. On the other hand Racecraft has the steering arm dropped 1" which would also allow me to lose the bump steer spacer on the rod end. Decisions, decisions .
Re: Light weight calipers
I think PA has a spindle with a dropped arm too. I'm running his kmember with a dropped pinto rack. That's why I planned to use his spindle. He mentioned it would all line up real nice.

Re: Light weight calipers

Struts and A-arms should, I don't know about your brakes. You might need to call them. The brakes I ordered are their part #330013 for the Ultralight spindle.

What PN are those?

P/N 300116.
Nick, you have Aerospace brakes, right. They have a hub kit that converts your 79-93 Mustang Aerospace Brake Kit to fit the Racecraft Inc. Lightweight 2" Drop Spindle 300116. Like I said, it might be a good idea to call.
