Less than $100 I suspect.

The blocks are the same....it's just that there will be little or no boring required...depending on needs.

Will an A460 block take a 5" crank?

It'd go in there but a taller deck ht. would be needed to make the package work.

Re: Big bore FRPP A460 block
There's a set of E460 heads for sale, they should work respectably with a 638.

Re: Big bore FRPP A460 block
I think the E heads were made to go on the A500 block, and some changes need to be made to get them on the A460 block.

Yep, They have the E460 head bolt pattern. They will NOT bolt up to a 429/460 block without relocation of
the head bolt holes
the head bolt holes

Is this big bore A460 block an option or will all A460 blocks be coming this way now?

If it's like the original a460 block, pretty much everything needs to be checked. At minimum a line hone on the mains and a check on the cam tunnel. Check of the deck as well. It's a new block, it all needs to be looked over to match your specific needs. This deal just saves the cost of the boring as it starts at 4.5, all else is the same.

Re: Big bore FRPP A460 block
It is the same block only with the bigger bore. The original std. bore block is still available. It's A460BB suffix.
