A 4 link set up is not for everyone, my car goes 1.18's on a good track and 1.21.123 on so so tracks with ladder bars.

I remember KY working on his 4 link set up trying to get it where it ran the fastest and it was not a walk in the park. And no one on a forum can tell you where to put what and make it work. Probably just orchestrate a wreck for you.

Every car wants what it wants and it takes a good bit of time and patience to get there. A ladder bar deal isn't simple, but it takes less time, and will work very good at most tracks.

Ask more questions and take into account the pros and cons of each set up and make your own decision.

Its gonna get a ladderbar setup just like mine, custom bars and housing. I had Duffy order the Afco dble adj shocks and the rear disc brake set up etc. The backhalf will handle any power he decides to throw at it later. 4link is great if you travel to a lot of different tracks and spend time under the car adjusting it all the time, A good ladderbar will get it done and not have to f-ck with it.....mine and Blakes cars are proof of that.

He got the tank tracks in this moring.......

this is why Ive had the same racecar since 87.........stick with the plan.

run the motor you got for now, later on we will front half it and stick an A headed 598 or bigger in it.

even though this car of Dave's wont be a 7 sec brawler it will get a lot more attention than a real fast small tire fox.

Be sure to leave a little extra room just in case. My car had 33X10.5W's and then the same 32X14.5W Both fit fine. Decided a wanted a little more rollout and put some 15X33 non w 's on it. They are SUPPOSED to be the same width as the 14.5W, but I found the section width to be more. Very tight fit on the sidewalls to qtr panel at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Nothing wrong with a ladder bar setup in this situation. Especially with the double adjustable shocks to help out.

And 14.5x32's aren't really a "big" tire, they aren't tiny, but they're not massive either.
