cast intake question
I am running a local heads up class that requires you to run a single 4 cast intake and a convential head. (currently using p-51's) I will be running a new sv1 prosystems carb and I am looking for any advantage in the intake department I can find. Currently I am running a victor and have read about the modified tfs manifold by the Evans brothers. Is there any options out there that I am not aware of? Thanks

Re: cast intake question
No, but if your intake is not ported, you need to have it done. the Victor intake sucks at the transition from runner to plenum, needs a ton of work.
The TFS intake will or should be a big improvement over the Victor.

Re: cast intake question
It's in the works, and it is a hell of a bunch of work to get an out of the box manifold to what the prototype is. Lem said they had a wood model of it at the PRI show last week, so maybe it's getting closer.

Nick,
I don't know if Lem took any pictures of it. But I think they will have one at the winter tech deal.

Re: cast intake question
Im hyjacking briefly...
what were the changes made on the new TFS intake (besides the obvious 4500 flange). Sounds as if they made it better in some way?

Re: cast intake question
Kris, I heard that the "mafia" version will not only have the 4500 pad, but will be ported and have raised runners. But gotta wait to see what the final product will be.
