572 pull down finds

Had a strange rattle when cold and at low rpm. Had been wanting to pull engine out so these noises made it happen.
1- noticed was flex plate bolts had only a few lbs of tightness to them.
2- pistons 1 thru 4 all had hot spots, mirrored in the combustion chamber of the heads. Cylinders 5 thru 8 had no sign of hot spots.
3- looking at chambers in heads it looks as though 2 and 6 were running lean.
4- mains bearings particularly no.5 various wear patterns.

Fuel distribution issue?

that small filter on that thing must be robbing some power i could be wrong but i get it its a street car

I didnt think they made one that small
