how fast are you guys with 545-557 motor running using ported Dove heads, in a door car, and which would be better, a built 466 with a big roller and 13-1 compression with ported doves or a 545 with a roller and 13-1 compression,

IMO the stroker will always make more power even if limited by heads

Depending on how well set up the DOVE's are, 700+ hp is not out of the question. You can plug that hp number into a Wallace calculator with your weight and be able to get a real close projected ET. More cubes = more TQ and the car with the most TQ will go faster every time, with all else being equal. Cool

514, home ported D2ve's milled to hell, 13:1, 3200 lb., 6.30 112 mph 1/8 mile. Glide 4:10,s 28x10.5's

In 1998 the 472 w/ported Dove-C (offset grd. 429 steel crank,6.7 rods,.030 Venolia's)C6, #2970 w/me., in a Maverick went 9.85 in 1/4 and 6.26 in 1/8.
