Tuning help
I hate to say it but I'm not very good at tuning, I set timing and I can assemble an engine but thats about it.
My cougar is fuel fouling plugs, I have a victor intake and an 850 dp w/factory jets. I have idialed some in the shop and I have done some low speed street driving which I guess could do it 20 plus miles ? and 10-12 passes Plugs have been in for about 8 months , and I have had three intakes on since then. Timing has been set at 32-34 total I have a RHP dist. with about 22 " advance. I need to by a holley carb book and read I think.
This makes me wish for less motor

Re: Tuning help
I have found that when working on a car (like painting it) and starting it up for just a couple of minutes, day after day, to move it in and out of the building, plugs will tend to foul out. You might also want to try some non resistor plugs. They seem to keep firing after more abuse than resistors.
