Power loss of mech fuel pump?
I'm still on the fence as to what kind of fuel pump to run on my 460 build. I'm trying to keep everything simple and easy to work on. My goal is to make 600 hp or at least really close to it.
Build coming along like so:
1050 dommy
ported victor intake
d0ve heads with port work
XR274R-10 comp cams solid roller
.030 over forged pistons w/ -14cc dish
Gonna run it through a c6 until I can get the money together to finish the conversion to a stick. Everything is going in a 72 Gran Torino Formal roof with 3.50 gears.

Mechanical IMO would be the simplest.

the summit brand one will support that and you wouldn't have to run a regulator. or pretty much any aftermarket pump will support that level. I would probably get one that flowed at least 110gph just to be safe though.

X2 and don't forget to upgrade the fuel line and pick up and maybe sump the tank if your going to keep the stock one or upgrade to a cell.
