Sorry Dan
Hey Dan, glad you are OK. That car can always be fixed but people are a bit harder to repair. Sorry about the car, but get her fixed up and we'll see you at the track soon.

Re: Hobbs Hit The Wall....
Thanks for all your offers guys, but I feel bad about taking much help on this deal. This was caused by the driver......We go there to put on a show for the crowd..long burnouts and wild rides...I just stayed in the throttle too long and let the car get to much momentum build up before trying to whoa it up. It got completely sideways at half track and got on 2 wheels trying to barrell roll, so My 1st thought was to get it back on 4 wheels ,then it was going straight at the wall. At that point I knew the wreck was going to happen for sure, so I cut it hard and throttled it trying to throw the rear quarter into the wall 1st...It worked ,but I didn't anticipate it climbing the wall But all in all ,it was a good wreck It's fixable!! I've made too many passes in it and lost respect for the speed.....Hopefully it won't happen again!!! Thanks again guys ,it's great to have friends like you all!!

IDT-572 wrote:I talked to him after the wreck, he said it bicycled and almost went over.......... Then he said when it hit the wall the car got real close to the top of it. It ground through the passenger side door and bent both rims plus wrinkled the interior sheet metal
Dan said he was sore and his wrist hurt.
Dan if it bent some interior sheet Metal I would set the car up on stands and string it and measure it every which way and make Positive the frame is totally square before you go back out..... you could have tweeked the frame enough to mess it up.... better to be safe than sorry...
