I am almost there..... I will turn 55 in December. My racing buddy from Ocala Florida, Ernie Griggs is 72...and can still chop the tree down and drive the finish line as well as any kid.

Re: Old Guys Rule
59 knocking on 60's door I raced Motocross in my early teens and at one race got involved in a big crash and ran over by three other bikes. After that I changed to drag racing, it seemed a lot safer . All those falls are catching up with me now.

I have a friend in Wva. that is in his 70's and holds the S/S B et record at I think 8.85 w/64 Tbolt and its a stick car.
Was just reading my new National Dragster issue and it's got a article on Paul Adams Fairlane in it. Paul is 72 yrs. young and still goin strong.I was surprised to read that Tony Bischoff now builds his engines. Kuntz & Co. always built them before. Who say's the FE is out dated,he beat one of the New Mustangs to win class at Indy.

I just read that as well Rick. Very nice car and very impressive performance from the FE. I'd love to see it in person.
