Value of 1971 D1VE block

Looking at a '71 D1VE bare block. Are these good blocks and what is one worth?

How big you going? Good block. Look around sometimes you can find them from local mud guys that break a cam in one. Then i get them for free, and align-hone the cam bore. Which is something you should do with theese since core shift in the cam webs happens with theese blocks. I would only give $100 bucks tops but thats just me. .080 should be no problem on this. Keep the stock bolts in the mains and heads. Keep it under 7,000RPm and it will live a LONG time if you maintain it.

The one I found has been honed to clean up cylinder walls, dipped and cleaned and align bore done. Guys wants 200.00 for it.

If its done right. That is a deal when you consider the price of machine work. Heck a dip is $50 bucks, minimum.
