my plans for my 10.00 index spare engine build , thoughts and ideas

using a spare d1ve block

4.3 eagle cast crank
eagle h beam rods
need to get pistons (13.1-13.5.1 hopping)
oiling mods to block done

dove heads they have port work done (not sure flow #s ) they have 2.250 intake valves ect (gonna have spring pockets done for roller springs )
and get a custom roller cam

car is a fox mustang cm cage , thru floor frame connectors cert to 8.50s , mini tubbed , strange brakes front and rear , racecraft k member and drop spindles ect
coilovers car weighd in at 2800 with me in it with a 408 it before and that didnt have the new brakes or spindles .....prob 2900 ish with iron headed bbf id guess

glide 1.80 trans brake
champion wheels 15x12 rears single beadlock on 29.5 x10.5s

do ya guys think its doable , i need an intake and carb .........hope i dont need any more head work porting that is

Index stuff is kinda tuff, you need alot more motor than just something to push it to a 10.0...... but it sounds like you'll be close.

ya guys know of what kind of power roughly to 10.00 index at 3000lbs give or take prob be a hair under that

630-650 should put you in the high 9s you'll need a couple tenths wiggle room to compensate for DA and varying track conditions.

IMO 675-700 would be Ideal, get you in the 9.60-9.70 range, that give you comfortable wiggle room for weather, DA and temp changes.
