If it's bigger than 557 you might want to go bigger on carb for max power/torque. Gonna take some finness to hook it imo.

Re: Progress of My big block 598ci TFS Ahead mustang
Well cutting front of car off is over rated imo. I only removed 30lbs and then added about 35lbs. But I did gain the 2 bars from dash bar to frame rail and a front bumper support:lol: If I had it to do it all over again, I would not bother.

Header bolts ok to get to except cylinder 3. I think spark plugs will be a challenge.

update
 2 steps forward 1 step back. got the car put back together from getting it tubed in the front and front facing headers. Pulled rear housing cover off to reseal it and 2 bolts was broke off into the housing. Person who sold me the car stuck 2 allen head caps into the cover with rtv to make appear that it was all ok. had to drill them out oh what fun.
Went to start car up and my friggin flywheel lost a few teeth:mad: So now trans will have to be taken out and new flywheel bought.
But on a good note I did score some fiber glass doors and put em on the car:D

Looks good, but the motor looks really low now. What ground clearance do you have at the bottom rear of your oil pan?
Or did you use a different one...Or is it just the way the pic makes it look.

I haven't measured ground clearance yet. But I believe from ground to cam center was either 13 or 14 inches.res0rli9 wrote:Looks good, but the motor looks really low now. What ground clearance do you have at the bottom rear of your oil pan?
