I still have the coolant leak at back of head on passenger side. I can't get to bottom head bolts to even retorque the head bolts. So if I have to take engine out just to try to see if retorque of heads is gonna fix it, I may as well take em off and put the nos rings in and get thicker gasket for correct quench and gap rings for spray. I got all winter and I've come this far.

It would be different if it was summer time already, I'd just run the hell out of it, I got about 3 months to kill anyway

I seen him at Milan late this year, car looked good and sounded good. I saw 2 passes but 1 pass he got out of it, other pass I think was on motor. Even tho we dont talk, it was good to him out with his car  

Make sure you look your intake over real good up front, and back.
You know a leak can leak here and drip there.

Thx, the entire motor is dry. Its leaking at the last head bolt on bottom where dowel pin is. Im pretty sure of it.

looking good charles im hoping mines on dyno in march after i get back from duck race in georgia

No not really. What I thought was a coolant leak is actually oil and it my be leaking down from rear of intake. I got the front end aligned, added head lites,bought new rear rims(12x15 5inbs and 29.5x10.5W's) for the car. I should be heading to the track in a week or so. I drove car around the block a few times and it pulls to the left going only 15mph and this is after I got it aligned 2x  

Oh yeah I did install my racepak and dash, just need to mount d.s collar. Bought a front end limiter kit from team z just need to install it. So I guess I did do some updates to the car,lol

700 for doors. And I want to say 56% front and 44% rear.

Finally made it to the track with my car. car ran great for being first time ever. Went down the track straight as an arrow, really effortless to drive. first pass of the foot brake and idle was 1.45 60foot 9.22@145mph didnt feel anyfaster than my 10sec car was.

second pass was off trans brake 3500rpm was 1.39 60 foot 9.00@151mph

car leaves like a pig, converter is too tight. made 2 more passes and yes I did get my 8sec pass and this is all motor passes.

Gonna get a 5200/5400 stall convertor, as I am looking for atleast 8.50's on motor. will have vids in a few days.

If your gonna spray it later leave the converter alone. If its an all motor combo then change it.

For a while now, you'll get quicker with each trip to the track.

dont have 2nd pass. Here is 3rd pass off the brake at 4400 but I dont thing it reved that hi. I forgot to shift, shift lite not working. bounced it off the limiter at 8 grand shifted and then down shifted at the 1000ft mark by accident.

last past of the nite. had stall at 4600 but it left at only 4000rpm on the racepak. I shifted at 7600rpm and went through the traps at 7100rpm. fastest pass of the nite. second video is a different shot.

Im gonna run on the motor until I get use to the car. Im not going to touch the convertor, I will keep it for spray. But I am going to buy a new convertor for my all motor passes. I may not even spray the car this year, not sure  

Either way that bi---h is getting it!!! Carry on there..... I have a friend that races at Milan. See if I can hook ya'll up. He races a 10.5 outlaw car.
