Nice build Lem, can you give any details? Are the heads out of the box cnc ported, or did you rub on them?

It's Phillip's compression ratio and fuel so, you'd have to ask him.
It's my cam.

Very nice build gentlemen !!!
Guess that answers the "Will they support 1000 hp out of the box question" ...
...and at 6,500 rpm no less.
There is most certainly some more there by working the as delivered AFR intake.
Again nice build !!!

How did that compare to the 588" p-51 build you and Phillip did?

Re: AFR BBF Head
Nice work guys. Were the heads and intake bolted on as is or did you do some port work on them?
Thanks,
Butch

Re: AFR BBF Head
Got pleanty of good heads available, now we just need some better intakes to get some RPM to make more power.

Sounds like a great option for a really good bracket engine that does not have to turn high rpm.

Considering the oil pressure....who can correctly guess the inches of Hg the vacuum pump was producing?
Re: AFR BBF Head
I just re-read through this build and maybe I missed it, but what is the bore & stroke?
Thanks, Sheldon

Nice flat torque curve Lem. Any details of the combo ? I know it has the new AFR heads on it.
