If its got one of those super long timing chains and two cams I officially hate you. Just kidding but not really.
Btw, best of luck to everyone involved.

I will take pictures
Bill Coon's heads
I does indeed have a stupid long timing chain.
I have like five weeks to go. Shouldn't I have any parts put together by now?????

Re: 2009 EMC Motors
Barry, if you wish to be even more trick and EXPENSIVE there is a guy in Washington state who sells an external belt cam drive for those S.O.H.C. engines.
I can't remember his name but, he runs the "ASSASSIN" nastalgia fuel dragster.
I've assembled one kit and it IS nice stuff.

I like it!
I thought that Mr. Evans was an alternate (I could be wrong)? Did a spot open up? That would be sweet!

NO ... this is just the driver not the guy who owns it. The owner also owns a speed shop if I'm not mistaken and his last name I think is Greene.
Re: 2009 EMC Motors
Good Luck to ya'll. I think it's time a good ole FE won this thing.

Re: 2009 EMC Motors
I think if the epa and fuel prices would not have tied fords hands they would have had all their motors cammers. And that would have been super sweet in a 385 series. Oh well they. Are making cammers now just small cubic inches.
