You guys look like a couple of kids in a candy store. I would be that happy too if I was there.

It seems we are all collectively bringing a drawer of knifes to a gunfight but, we certainly will enjoy ourselves while we're there, lol.
Re: 2009 EMC Motors
What you mean, Randy? Are the LS motors expected to bring it home this year?

Re: 2009 EMC Motors
I don't have any idea one way or the other except that the winner surely will have a lot more points than we all could generate. Could be any brand...!
Re: 2009 EMC Motors
Hi, Damon:
I was just looking at the photo's you posted on Sept. 1st. I noticed in the last pic, it appears that those Dominator's are bolted directly to the lower half of that tunnel ram manifold! I didn't think that it could work properly, or at all without the plenum to "balance" out the fuel mixture to all eight cylinders! It looks as though the front 4 cylinders are totally isolated from the rear 4. I had two Dominators sitting on my old Weiand tunnel ram, without the upper just for fun - but I didn't think it could actually work.

Re: 2009 EMC Motors
It can work very well ... just like a big motorcycle engine. One throttle bore per cylinder so, they all have to be syncronized.
Re: 2009 EMC Motors
Looks like BBF's are in position 1&2...according to PHR's website at the moment

This has to be the only contest in the world where they don't changed the rules every year so that the bowtie can always win.

Yeah, it's weird! Ford has pretty much owned this thing since the start, and they don't seem to screw around with the rules to stop it. I don't get it, really.

Glad to see Eric laid down some serious numbers for everyone to chase. Being first out of the gate is never easy.

I read about that little mod motor. He can run it either EFI or carb. I imagine he pulls the carb and puts on a throttle body. He said he was getting better numbers with the carb!!!

Bill
if no fuel is going to the carb it could be used as THE throttle body for the injection.
