I think you will lose another .15 at Ubly next week. I am concerned at the amount of mph that was lost on the gear change. And you had to post the slip with my junk next to yours. Will 29.5s fit the wheel house? That may help.

My last time out. I'm car 38...best 1/4 mi ET and mph to date. Footbraking, the transbrake still acting up. 60 ft times need to improve, my goal on that is some mid 1.30's Once I get that I think my 9.70 goal will achieved

I've watched that car leave many times on all the videos. The front end doesnt stretch or rise enough. Maybe the spring rate is way to high but compared to other Fox bodies it needs more travel. I would like to hear from the suspension experts on this issue.

the front end has plenty of travel. you get the rear right you will tighten it up some.
We would: increase the anti-squat. and put DA shocks on the rear to control it.
if you watch the videos again you can see the entire car "rock" backward when it launches instead of wanting to go forward.

elaborate why, I have an idea why, but I'm pushing 750 right now on a stock block and how I understand it, it's good to bout 900. Really don't want to reinvent the wheel ......I hear it....here it comes.........should've would've could've deal. I'm sure this pig can 60 better without it but whatrichter69 wrote:put mr frosty on it .........

Well the weather has improved and got me in the urge to install these over the weekend. Planning on trying them out this Saturday.

Assuming those are the Vikings you posted on the other site. Interested to hear how they work.

tran,s mount
car looks good, I saw the pic, of the rear trans mount do you think you want a soft mount there , for flex? I have seen a lot of tail shafts broke because they didn't use a soft mount on the tail shaft.

I do have a thin piece of rubber between the mount and trans, the bolts are just finger tight with locktite so they don't vibrate out. Leaving the bolts loose like that helps for flex and prevents cracked cases. I believe Blake or Damon or both told me that little tip. I think Jon doesn't even run a rear mount.

No....not any new updates. Got it to best of date on ET and mph (see below my signature). I've been through a very trying work ordeal the past 6 months not sure if I was going to have a job or not (company buyout) so I laid low on spending $. Everything is all good now. I have to get my mind back into it and see where I want to go from here to address my traction issues
Thanks to all for your compliments

Mike,
Glad go see you getting back in to it. Now let's get it into the 9.40s.
