Do not have any final dyno numbers because of the situation we had. If you're not sure what I mean check out my DYNO PARTY thread in General Discussion. I call tell you though it was making some nice #'s for low 6k pulls .

Well Blake has her ready to roll again He totally disassembled it and went over it with a fine tooth comb and didn't find any major issues or damage other than the rear main bearing suffered some damage when the dyno coupler let go.
So I'm very happy with that .
Not sure when we'll re-dyno but I will post results as soon as they are available. Wish us better luck this time

Re: My build, my Fox transformation....lotsa pics
We got the engine on the dyno last night, Made a short pull with the last jetting change from the last time. It made 708 @ 6000 rpm. These numbers may be off a number or two, Mike has the dyno sheets and will post them later.
I'm posting from memory.
After the tuning was all said and done we saw 751 Hp @ 6400 rpm and 681 Ft Lb. Torque @ 4900.
It had over 650 ft lb torque from 4500 through 5500 rpm and still held 616 at the Hp peak 6400.
In a world of high compression, max ported, big inch, solid roller camed engines, I was happy with the out come of this flat top , flat tappet, bowl blended, 528.
Good hp per dollar combo. The SCJ flat tappet heads that Lem sales and a good inexpensive flat tappet cam , cast crank, H beam rods, forged pistons. Killer bracket deal.
You don't have to turn it over the moon to make decent power.
I want to thank Mike for waiting on this engine. When he called me to do this deal, I told him I was way behind and would be a good while before I could get to it, then to add to it we had the problem on the dyno that set us back again. He never complained once and was very understanding through the whole deal.
I'm glad it all worked out well for him.

Great combo Blake. Congrats.
That will last a LONG time if its maintained right. Like you said, a GREAT bracket motor.

Thanks for the kind words guys................. The run in stand was procured from a trade Dave Freelander and I did. It's really nice. I just wired a Duraspark 2 ignition box up for now, running it with a Msd distributor and an old accel coil .
It makes it nice to run the engine , set the valve lash hot, and check for oil leaks, and water leaks before going to the dyno. It gives you all tuning time on the dyno instead of working on problems....................
I have got to get on Coon- 61's engine and my P-51 headed engine now. Somebody is going to have to topple the hero off his throne

Isn't there a short block somewhere in the list of things to do?

I'm very happy with the dyno results Blake did a helluva job
I found out how to change these from PDF to jpg so I thought I would share .
These are from my final pull. I see no use in showing all pulls. The first pull was 708 hp. Blake worked his talents to get that "Snake Power" up
751 hp @ 6400 rpms 681 ft lbs @ 4900 rpms

The honest truth pound for pound I'm more impressed with the outcome of this build than my own. I'd love to see what a good alky carb would have done on this thing.
