Headers look good Jon. Better keep the wheelie bars set low, you may have a rocket / thrust issue with those headers aimed at the ground.......thrust hydraulics ........ The Mexicans will idolize you if they don't already ..... clown Razz Laughing

That dagum Fabio has went and got wheels like mine too. I guess I am gonna have to get a p-51 logo tattooed on my tongue just so I can be different. lol!

I think I am gonna file the domes off my pistons , stick about 10 pieces of 1 1/2 pvc in my enderle injector for venturi 's , lubricate Travis' s-10 vac pump with graphite greese and go see if I can break Mike Phillip's dyno lol! Shocked

That's nice but the nitrous bungs are supposed to be on the INTAKE Mad Razz They look cool, are you coating them, painting them, or leaving them bare metal?

The bungs are for egt's.............Need to weld the collector tabs on, plus a little cleanup on the inside of the flange area. I'll get the driver's side done up this weekend, they will get HPC coated.


I have a friend who is a welder at the local industrial supply company, 10 bucks a tube aint worth messin' with lol.


The front and rear tubes are a bit longer than I wanted, but I'd rather the tube be longer than put a severe bend in it to keep them equal. You also have to allow for the front suspension travel, tire clearance etc.

The last 2 tubes took some doing trying to keep all the joints tight for the tig. I should just squeak by with enough tubing for the other side, if I need another J bend I can have it here in 2 days lol, so it wont be any trouble.

I'll have about 20 hours in the whole project, as said the final welding he is doing is saving me some time. The collectors are HPC coated from the last set, but will get redone as well.

Get the tubes done and on, put the ign box and stuff back in the car, change the front hub seal on the tranny and put it back in, recert the belts......then just wait for the track to get to an acceptable state of prep after the winter months and we'll go see how she run................... Wink

Is the big bend on #4 for tire clearance ? i cant see from the pic if its from something else in the way? anyway nice job what size are they ?
