Yeah, having some hooking issues. Best et so far is a 5.72 @ 3250. I think its got some 5.50's in it once we get it dialed in.

Just wondering what was your best time with Seth's old 557?

Any new ETs from this? Impressive build, this is what I should have done the first time.
Re: 598" ;) A head - Dyno results page 6
What do you think the difference would be if this engine was built as a 572, 4.5"x4.5" and with the Power Port 360 18 bolt heads with the 2.4" valves? Everything else kept the same.

psfracer - No I broke a few valve springs on the last race that was the fastest pass of 5.69. To make a long story short, I ran across some things that made me decide to tear it down to check some things out. It's close to being back together. May even spray it before the year is up. I'll update once we are back at the track.

Maybe refering to that garbage P51 head? Still love his ride though and it runs well!

what Im saying is don't sell the P51 head short. I've yet to see any A headed cars comboed the same run any harder than a P51 deal. In fact the P51 deals are faster.
Don't sell your combo short Paul I don't think the A head would make much if any difference from where you are now. There is a point where it will shine but I don't think your there yet.

And then, there are some dudes that say that the iron cj/scj heads are as good or better that the FRPP SCJ and P51 stuff.
P51 are badass but, aint the final word relative to cyl. heads.
Re: 598" ;) A head - Dyno results page 6
agreed, but take Pauls combo and toss a set of A460s on it I doubt it would be any quicker, in the 1/8th especially.

You should say...it is you opinion
Re: 598" ;) A head - Dyno results page 6
The combo would have to be changed. It would want more cam and rpm.. if you just changed the pistons and heads who knows? But who would do that? I'm guessing it would pick up hp and lose torque. But I would be guessing.

No tq. loss...observation...not opinion.
Re: 598" ;) A head - Dyno results page 6
Kaase himself will tell you that the A460 will make more power but they are two different classes of heads... for what it is worth... I do agree with Jon (richter69), psfracer, you have a mean bullet there imo.
