My guess would be it would still haul ass...
Would it haul ass in a heavy mud truck?

Did some testing this weekend after going back through the engine and getting the car down to 3100. Ran a 5.57 @125 with a 1.27 60ft on a break in session. Felt good to be back planted in the seat

Quick update. The 598 powered the car to a 5.46 with a 1.21 60' on the old style 275 radials on it's last outing at 3110 lbs.

It was an expensive picture! Lost a lot more than a headlight and oil pan I have no desire of doing that again!cool40 wrote:Looks expensive !

42 jet. Ramp 40%-100% in 1.2 sec. Never got a chance to test a 42 jet on radials. That was the first and only pass. Tore a lot of stuff up. Should have extended the ramp out a bit. Some say I should have thrown more power at it. We were planning to work our way to a 52 jet.
