I worked 8 hours today and got another 108 pounds off the truck, that will put it under 3000 as it sits but got another 100 pounds I think I can get off with another day of work.
Congrats on the intake Nick!

lol, its turning into a real racecar! I trimmed out the doors and removed the crash bars today and ended up having to go to ER to get 2 stitches in my finger.

you went to the er for 2 stitches? If black tape can hold it on/stop the bleeding then I see no need for medical attention lol

X2 I've got a $1000 deductible on ER visits, if it ain't broke or falling out it gets fixed with paper towels and masking tape

It was down to the tendon or I wouldn't have gone homestly.

I raced a steel '88 Ranger with a big block. Ladder bar car with only 'glass hood and front bumper. Scaled at 2480 lbs. w/o driver. Raced at a little under 2700.
Don't stop now.

My 86 was 2700 with big block iron heads and exhaust all the way to the back bumper these newer ones are built like Sherman tanks. Its coming around though, I am pleased with the weight reduction thus far.bigblok2000ranger wrote:I worked 8 hours today and got another 108 pounds off the truck, that will put it under 3000 as it sits but got another 100 pounds I think I can get off with another day of work.

You guys do know that is what super glue is made for right, just stop the bleeding, and squirt it in the cut, wrap it with gqaze, and tape, heals good as new.
, thats all we had in the bush.

At least I worked fairly steadily with that "coward", I've had a grand total of 5 1/2 weeks of contracting work since the present war hero took over 4 years ago - and no unemployment "benefits"....
I knew I shouldn't have said anything about "Dang near time to head to Florida" and got this thread goin' again...

No offense taken, Harold. Country folks can survive, we're closer to the world's realities than the social engineers who think they can change them...
