Thanks Mark
Sorry Mark,i've had a lot of big offers but I already have all the parts to finish it.
Rick,

Thanks Mark.

New intake/cylinder heads for the stang, thanks to Charlie Evan's . up grade the chassis to 7.50. Fibber glass doors for the 71. Picked up a 69 ford fairlane formal roof, prepping that car for a 427 TP. my plate is full

Got 250#'s off the truck already and things are looking much better to get this thing down to desired weight! Got another 130-150 of easy weight removal left to do yet, then comes all the little time consuming chit.

Lots of welding. I'm mini tubbing it right now, then doing the torque boxes, thru floor sub frame connectors and roll cage. Once the chassis's done it's motor mock up time. My plan is to have it on it's wheels by spring.

Time to re-certify a few parts and clean things up...
Also have to upgrade my license..
Going to try and run with the "Big Boys" in some of the Jeg's races next year.
And maybe...just maybe.. try and run some Division 2 T/D meets, if my N2O guy will hook me up.

Re: What is everyone's winter plans???
I'm going to keep plugging away on the car and try to get it back on the ground and rolling around. I should have the front suspension all bolted back up and complete tomorrow. Just need to paint the rear frame rails, clean up the 4-link and rod ends and I'll stick the rear back under there. The tinwork is the next biggest hurdle. After that it's just the wiring, some plumbing and a few small details.

Finally gonna shake down the Maverick. Once I'm sure it'll stay off the wall, it gets paint.

Re: What is everyone's winter plans???
Thanks, Nick. I worked hard at getting it that low. With the engine setback, it's got a bias of 49% front, 51% rear.

Re: What is everyone's winter plans???
By the way, Nick...We've got 2 more tracks to open down here soon. I hear the old Atmore track is being reopened by the same guy who runs the Mobile track. He runs a pretty good program, too. New concrete in process now. Also a brand new track near Thomasville, I hear. Both less than an hour from my place. The Atmore deal is right off I-65...easy tow for you.
