thanks! i got a pic of the radiator too,it's not made like an original so it damn sure dont fit like one.lol. it's for this car but like some of the junk for these cars it takes a little "custom" work to use it.
yeah, I hear you, seems like I don't have one screw on mine that isn't customized some how. but that is part of the fun.
I am a fan of the clean look. took all of mine off and even shaved the drip rails and mirror.

shaved, trimmed, filled, and clean. Of course mine has a different look. For such a simple design there are many ways you can tastefully take early mustangs.

Re: new project! *progress*
thanks, I also filled the cowl. both of those were because I found it easier to do that than replace the drip rails or the cowl (the bottom inside was rusted, so I cut it out and sealed it, which means I need to seal the top).

Re: new project! *progress*
last week i got the exhaust on! as soon as i started it up i knew i had a problem all along i thought the car had a vibration and now i was sure of it.knowing the 351 had been in another car and ran without issues it had to be the only thing i put on it,the flywheel! be'n a tight ass at times i got a nice XTD aluminum flywheel off ebay, after i did some research on them and all was good.well,i pulled the t5,offed the damn thing and looked it over.i had the 28oz weight on it so wtf! i got a FORD c4 flexplate and stuck it on,noted where the weight was and had my answer.this cheap sob had the weight about 1/3 out of place.it had one hole a little off so it would'nt bolt on where it should but it damn sure bolted on where it should'nt.i e-mailed the company and they said their flywheels had no problems! i offered to send pics but got no response, what a f****n surprise! my lesson for this week, dont buy the cheap sob or at least compare it to a good one! i'm sure i got tho only bad one i got it back together tonight and its fine now, even fixed the leaking chrome oil pan,it's outside in the rain tonight!
