Dan i looked at all the local parts stores and nobody could realy come up with "headliner" glue, only the 3m spray can stuff i ended up useing the yellow 3m weatherstrip,or snot as my kids call it.after it got dry it holds realy good.the windlace went on good and tha glass should be in friday!56Tbird wrote:What glue are you using Lee?cool40 wrote:i got the headliner in today! i cant say for sure how it looks cuz i dont give a *%^$ but i can say i dont plan on goen into headliner business.

Not to argue but my old best friend had 91GT with a 302 with 1.73 roller rockers and a cat back kit and blew up 2 fresh rebuilt T-5's with world class upgrades then went to local Ford dealer and bought a brand new unit (also world class) the new one lasted 2 weeks and the car only had street tires.

Re: new project! *progress*
it's damn sure been better to me than she was! that t5 in my 86gt came out of a friends 91lx.he lost it on some ice and took down a power pole,in the driver door. the tail shaft housing AND tail shaft were broke.it was replaced and runs today,he however has never been the same.res0rli9 wrote:cool40 wrote:this one may have a short life in this car. i've owned a 86 gt for over 15 yrs with a world class t5 and had no problems with it.its been on the track a few times and had a lota street action,it even lived through a divorce!bigblok2000ranger wrote:dfree383 wrote:Cool Project. Nice
I like the idea Cool40. I had a 69' in the 80's and left the metal off and had a real neat air brush Mustang put on.
